Shawn has garnered notable success across a diverse range of projects and ventures. Currently, he serves as a Co-Producer on the TV drama "Wild Cards," which premiered in 2024 and is currently airing on the CW and HULU in the U.S. and on CBC in Canada. His pivotal role in uniting the partners and steering the project to fruition underscores his exceptional leadership and collaborative skills.
 
Under the banner of his company, Manifest Unlimited™, Shawn oversees an extensive development slate encompassing projects across various platforms, including television, feature films, gaming, and publishing.
 
Before embarking on his recent entertainment industry ventures, Shawn had an eight-year interlude, co-founding Funley's Delicious®—a natural snack brand—with his wife, Ashley. Shawn, in his role as CEO, raised seed funding and a multi-seven-figure Series A round of capital and focused heavily on growing sales and distribution. Shawn not only appeared on QVC multiple times, where the product sold out, but also grew distribution nationally and globally, turning the company into a multi-million-dollar business before his exit.
 
Prior to Funley's, Shawn began his career in the film and television industry, first interning at Tribeca Films, then working for an HBO TV Series, Dream On, and eventually as an Independent Producer, all of which fueled his thirst for storytelling and honed his craft.
 
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Shawn holds a bachelor’s degree in film studies from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, which included production programs at NYU and USC. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Ashley, and their young son, Shepard.

Ashley Mendel is a multifaceted media professional and strategist with a rich and varied background. If you were to ask her about her favorite sense, she'd likely say 'vision.' In truth, she values all her senses, and perhaps even a 'sixth' sense, as her gut instinct plays a pivotal role in everything she undertakes. An entrepreneur at heart with a keen eye for business, Ashley has always been drawn to creative pursuits and industries and has never been afraid to tackle a new project or venture, no matter the challenge.

Throughout her career, Ashley has achieved noteworthy success in her endeavors. Currently serving as the Co-Founder of Manifest Unlimited™, she collaborates with creators to develop cross-platform media projects spanning TV, gaming, and publishing. Her work has deepened her love for storytelling and has ignited a new passion: writing a middle-grade novel series, which she aims to publish in 2025.

Prior to this recent media venture and pursuit in writing, Ashley began as a college PR intern in the music industry, working for the Lollapalooza Music Tour and later at Virgin Records. After college, she launched her career in TV marketing, holding positions at CBS, Fox, and eventually Disney. With a focus on creative marketing and on-air promotion, Ashley oversaw award-winning campaigns, budgets, and the production of print and on-air shoots. She then took a bold step, venturing into a new field—the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Food Industry.

​Alongside her husband, Shawn Mendel, she co-founded Funley's Delicious® natural family snack brand. As Co-Founder/COO, they raised seed capital and a Series A round of funding, and thereafter, Ashley concentrated on brand, product development, and manufacturing, focused on P&L. Under her eight-year leadership, Funley's Delicious® grew into a multi-million-dollar business, with products available in over 10,000 retailers nationwide and distributed in seven countries worldwide before her exit.

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Ashley holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business from California State University Northridge. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and business partner, Shawn Mendel, and their young son, Shepard.​
